Database Schema - SQL vs BEx

Hi

I used to work with Microstrategy that was on to of SQL database.

Now I got new job using BO. Problem is that reports are based on BeX Queries. I can't see an SQL.

How can I become familiar with Database Structure. (In Microstrategy I was able to see SQL behind and figure out Table Structure)

Is SAP Workbench only solution ?
