Tips to retrieve List of Values quicker with millions of records in Oracle database

My Environment:

BO 4.1

Oracle 11g

Hi,

I created a Universe (UNX) on Oracle 11g database using IDT. The back-end database has millions of records.

Now, I created a Webi report with a Query filter that takes more than 10 minutes to display List of Values in the Prompt filter. I also tried using Search option in Prompt filter but still it takes atleast 5 mins to display the List of Values.

What should I do to retrieve the List of values quicker?

Please help!
