Need to add a global time filter

Dear Team,

We are running on BO 4.0 SP 7. We wanted to implement a filter/logic in all our existing/to be created reports in such a way that we can run the queries only when a time filter is applied to it.

Basically we do not want the users to accidentally run a query at a more granular level without a time filter against our fact tables which would occupy the entire DB resources.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions towards the same.

NOTE : We need to implement these only to the queries fired to the FACT tables and not the dimension tables.
