Webi Publication to Excel Format Text Cell Truncated

We are using publications for webi docs on 4.1 SP4 and we need to have a heading text on the top of each worksheet of the excel workbook.

So we have a cell and enter the text in webi and it looks fine, but when converted to excel, it is sometimes truncating the text as it seems to span across multiple cells.

Is there a better way to do this?  We don't put the title in the heading because the heading is not included in the excel format.
