Dear experts,
We have a three machine BOE 4.1 SP1 sytem where two machines are BO servers where as the third one is the web tier machine. It was working fine till few days ago when it suddenly behaving differently. BI Launch Pad login page has started taking too much time to show up most of the time while there are times when it shows up instantly. We have tried logging in with all three individual tomcats i.e, tomcats installed in the BO server machines and the one in the web tier machine but in vain. We have set the folowing parameters:
1. Tomcat Configuration > Java: Initial Memory 2GB, Max Memory 4GB, Thred Stack size 4K; MaxPermSize=512M
2. Setenv: JAVA_OPTS=%JAVA_OPTS% -Xmx4096m -XX:MaxPermSize=512m
3. startup.bat: Added set "CATALINA_OPTS=-Xms2048M -Xmx4096M -XX:MaxPermSize=512M -Xss4096k"
4. Server.xml: Added MaxThreads="900"
Even adding all these parameters has not helped us improve the Launch Pad login page fetching time. Please help us resolve this issue. If it needs further tuning, where we can do it?
