Why does SAP refuse to make user defined objects (UDOs) come back? Is it such a bad thing? Is it so hard to do?
I don't think so. User Defined Objects are really useful specially if you have users that don't have access to the Universe, but need to include some special operations with the dimensions they already have at query level, in the query pane. Some things that can't be done at report level, only at query level. There are some things that willl screw up your performance if you do them with a variable in your report. That's why we need UDOs come back from Desktop Intelligence to new Webintelligence sps or even BI4.2's Webintelligence.
Come on SAP!Make UDOs come back, I beg you!
