Sorting on a string not working when translated to Japanese

Hi ,

I am working on Web Intelligence reports which are build on BW on HANA.  The composite provider is exposed to HANA view which is consumed in a BOBJ Universe. This universe is used to generate reports.

In my report I have a field 'Calendar Month' which is a 'string' datatype. I have put custom sort on this to achieve the calendar month as shown in table below.

=FormatDate(ToDate([Calendar Month];"yyyyMM");"MM-yyyy")

01-2015 | 02-2015 | 02-2015 ....

I have translated my report and Universe in Japanese using TMT. When I switch to Japanese locale , the sort order changes and it displays records in descending order.

03-2015 | 02-2015 | 01-2015

I checked my custom sort while in Japanese mode, which looks correct. i dragged the calendar month object without the function , and still it shows the data in descending order , which seems to be a default layout.

Any suggestions would be very helpful .
