BI4 Web Intelligence prompts are unacceptably slow

Hello!

Have anyone experienced that in BI4 Web Intelligence prompts are unacceptably slow when scheduling reports?

We are facing this problem with Webi reports (migrated), the problem occurs on all reports with more than one prompt.

When opening report promts in BO XI3.1 takes 1 second, then opening same promts in BI4 it takes 3 minutes and ja 58 seconds.

This problem has been there from the start of the BI4.

More information about our environment:

Environment

BI4 SP07 on Windows Server 2008R2

Webi reports - migrated - problem on all reports with more than one prompt.

Universes connecting to Teradata DB and Oracle DB

ODBC connection (not migrated)

Universe statistics:
452 classes
3431 objects

162 conditions
403 tables
2088 alias
3428 joins
19 contexts
12 hierarchies

Only date comparison objects are used in this example report (no LOV)

Current parameters for Adaptive Processing server are following

- Xms32m
- Xmx8g
- XX:MaxPermSize=256m

Prompt page that comes up before the refresh is not blank

Under connection:
Pool Timeout: 10 minutes
Array Fetch Size: 10
Array Bind Size 5
Login timeout: 600 minutes

Adaptive processing server is split into 3 pieces:
1) MDAS
2) Platform Search Service
3) All the other remaining services

Report: 13401 Manager's tool
4 prompts:
Mbr of weeks from Previous Week (Mon-Sun) End Date > 4
Enter N1 for Today +/- N1 Days > -150
Nbr of days from today > 30
Enter N2 for Today +/- N2 Days > 30

Performed steps:

Recreating the prompts did not make any difference

Create a new report with prompt > works fine

We have found workaround:

Opened the report with dHTML mode > choose from left user prompts input > wait until the prompts are uploaded > save and close report
Schedule the report > the promts will open very quickly

We are interested, is there a shorter way to solve the problem?

Thanks in advance,

Jana
