Top N ranking in cross tab reports

Hi,

We have created a cross tab audit report to check the usage of our standard reports in our environment.Right now we applied top 10 ranking functionality and its working fine.

But now we need to Top (N) ranking in our report,I mean based on the user prompt input the report should show the data (Example Top 3 or Top 10 or Top 30)

I have checked similar issue in SCN Site,before implementing i want to know is this the only way to achevie Top N prompt functionality?Will it work on cross tab reports ?

This is how our cross tab report looks,right now it is providing top 10 reports for each month based on total refresh count.
