Column as a Date with Excel Data Provider

Good Afternoon:

I am using Excel as a personal data provider with Webi Rich Client. The first row does not have the column header name so I uncheck that when I read
the file in.  If I define a column as a Dimension and set it to Date, when the data comes back in it turns the column definition back to a string.  This only happens if it is a new data provider, my existing reports that were migrated from 3.1 keeps the column definition as a Date.

We are on the following version:

SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.1 Support Pack 4 Patch 2
