Webi Input Controls in .Net environment

Hi All:

We are on BOXI 3.1 SP3 .Net environment (IIS7) and have discovered that users (even the Administrator) cannot see the icon for Input Controls in Infoview.  We are planning to upgrade to SP6 on Monday.  Will this have any impact on this issue?  Is the use of Webi Input Controls supported in a .Net environment?
