I recently started looking at the new Web Intelligence Extension feature, following this user guide : http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/b0b577d7-39ad-3110-e69d-a0445c587ee7?QuickLink=index&…
I managed to get my text extension working and available in the Webi Applet. I'm trying to go a bit further by implementing servlets and a few .jsp pages to go along, but I wasn't able to get the servlet mapping to work properly.
Here's the content of my web-fragment.xml under META-INF in my extension .jar file:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<web-fragment version="3.0" id="WebAppFragment_ID" xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaeehttp://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee/web-fragment_3_0.xsd" xmlns:web="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee/web-app_2_5.xsd" xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
<name>filters</name>
<servlet>
<description/>
<display-name>ServletTest</display-name>
<servlet-name>ServletTest</servlet-name>
<servlet-class>com.test.servlets.ServletTest</servlet-class>
</servlet>
<servlet-mapping>
<servlet-name>ServletTest</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>/test/servlet</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>
</web-fragment>
I've create my ServletTest class in the com.test.servlets.ServletTest package, and everything seems to be configured properly.
My .jsp pages are working as intended,but I can't reach my servlets:
- http://server:port/BOE/CMC/123/AnalyticalReporting/extension/tests/WebiTestBundle/index.jsp works fine.
- http://server:port/BOE/CMC/123/AnalyticalReporting/extension/tests/WebiTestBundle/test/servlet ends up in the BOE 404 Missing Page.
Am I missing something or are servlets not yet implemented in the WebIntelligence Extensions ?
Thanks !
