I have one customer exit in BEx query variable in which i am calling a standard Function module (RSEC_GET_USERNAME) to get the values to be populated in variable.
Now the same BEx query which when used as a source in WEBi report is not fetching any data saying "no data to retrieve".
when i comment the FM in exit and run the WEbi report, it is fetching the data in WEBi report.
Issue is with FM calling from WEBi. some how the call is not getting the trigger properly and hence the error. I have to use the FM to get the user who is running the report in user exit .
Just for a trail though i have used Z function module with the same logic as the standard FM and made the Z function module remote enabled Function module and used that in user exit but with the same error.
Now the question(s) is:
Is it that we cannot call BW FM in WEBi? Or is that some connection is missing BW and BO systems?
