This is a little bit urgent.
We're running BMC Analytics 8.1 (Business Objects 4.0.)
I have created a new universe, let's say "Test ITSM" (derived), and linked it to the OOB universe, "ITSM" (core). I have added several objects and also created joins from the derived universe to the core universe. It works fine in our pre production environment (created reports using "Test ITSM"). I have also managed to export the "Test ITSM" to production environment via Promotion manager in CMC.
In production environment when import "Test ITSM" via the Universe Designer Tool, it crashes every time I do this, but I can find and open "Test ITSM" from the file system. As expected "Test ITSM" displays objects and classes from both derived and core universe, it looks OK. I can import and export the core universe "ITSM" without problem. But when I try to export "Test ITSM" seperately I get error "Unable to export because a linked universe could not be found in cms. The linked universe may be deleted." When I run webi rich client and try to connect to ITSM Test I get error "No business layer sent back from server".
- Both universes have the exact same DB connection
- Both universes are displayed in CMC /Universes and both of them has a relationship to one another (Tools /Check relationship)
I have tried to export only the derived universe and then both of them.
Has this something to do with different repository id's?
Is it possible to fix this?
