WebI 4.0 -> BEx Query Connection to Report Not restricting via BEx Variable

Hi,

I have a BEx Query which contains 2 dimensions with hiearchies and a time dimension (Year/Period). I select a hiearchy value BEx Prompt and a Year/Period for example January 2013.

When I run the report in Web Intelligence connected to the BEx Query I get data from 2011, 2012 and 2013. Weird and why. I am on SP6 Patch 2 for BI 4.0.

Also, when i run the BEx Query in RSRT the restriction works as expected.

Help! I am trying to impress my clients with BI 4.0 and this is not working as expected...
