Dear Experts,

I'm facing with above error when I refresh the report, earlier when I refresh the same report it worked fine but now it is giving me error.

I have gone through the portals, in that many experts have suggested to change prm file, but I hope that is not my solution. I will tell you in detail about my issue.

I have 2 dimensions and 1 measure in my report.

AB--- is a Character data type

CD-- it is a date but it's data type is character(in database it is time-stamp, but in universe it is converted to VARCHAR, this universe is created by someone but now I'm using it, I have no rights to create a new universe but I can edit the universe.)

EF-- is a measure.

When I create a report with both date and measure it is throwing above error, when I remove any one of it the report is refreshing fine.

To test this in another scenario, I created a new dimension in universe by removing VARCHAR format i.e. I have dragged the date dimension from table to classes and objects and it's data type is date.

Now when I drag measure, date and dimension in the report it is working fine, but when I drag the date in Query filter and refresh the report it is throwing an error (

Error:

A database error occured. The database error text is

:[IBM][CLI Driver][DB2] SQL0180N The syntax of the string

representation of a datetime value is incorrect. SQLSTATE=22007

{SQLNumResultCols}.(WIS 10901)

).

I cannot take the screen shots so I'm descrbing everything in as a message.

Please suggest me experts it would help me.

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Karthik M
