Universe connection from Dev to QA during Promotion

Hi All,

During promotion ,I have promoted reports and Universes from Dev to QA for first time.

My query is,

1.Is the universe connection working fine in QA or do we need to manually re point the connection in QA ?

2.If your answer is yes how to re point to connection in QA ?

3.Also I heard that for first time we need to manually re point the connection in QA and for second time during promotion from Dev to QA we need to enable the override option in Dev ,so that no need to re point the same in QA.

Kindly help me over my concern.
