Q1) how to restrict the user to retrieve less number of records into report?
Scenario: User able to run the report with respective prompt values(e.g 01/Jan/2016 to 30/Aug/2016) but every day data is loading some lakhs(100,000) of records.
if some lakhs of data in a single day. if user running so and so above date then obviously report performance issue because of huge data immediately server down ...or some issues will occur.
how to over come this situation
->As per the below screen shot if we apply Max rows retrieved at Query Properties. Again there is a problem with the users coming back partial data issue..
I need to investigate first a) how to find the report(which is retrieving the huge records)
b) what is the maximum retrieving records into webi report?
