Could you please help us to identify the solution for the following issue:
Issue :
The user is getting the error “ Web Intelligence Server Memory Full “ when he is executing the particular webi report. He gets the same error on other PC when he try to run the same report using his id.
The report errors out after trying to refresh for 10 minutes. When BO Admin or any other user access the same report than it executes in less than 4 minutes. None of the users for BO are facing any performance issues.
The user does not get any issue for any other report. The report does not pull much data and does not have any database performance issue.
BO Version: BO XI R2
Solutions that we have tried:
- Checked user’s profile and it is set accordingly. It has appropriate access.
- Checked for db performance. No issues.
- Re-started the cache server.
- Verified the Java version.
- Searched for the suggested solution in the url http://Scn.sap.com/thread/3258658 . However, we do not found the suggested solution. The issue is exactly the same for us as well.
- Cleared the cache and checked whether user has sufficient available space on his desktop, my documents and RAM space.
- Tried to add the environment variable value Xms128m -Xmx256m in java control panel. No options found on user system to do so.
- Verified the *.WID file size.
- We have created a userid with same level of access as user, in that way also report refreshed with less than 4 mins.
