Webi report 3.1 date prompt

Hi All,

I have a webi report with prompt Close date from and to and have applied user response function for date field at the report header. So when the report is run from 1 jan to 5 jan 2014, the header userresponse displays date as 1/1/2014 12.00.00 AM to 1/25/2014 12:00:00 and shows no data in the report. BUt if I consider the time there is data before that a few mins or secs before 11:49 PM or something at the end date.

I was suggested to apply "CLOSE DATE >= FROM DATE AND CLOSE DATE < (TO DATE + 1)" how do I apply this in the report? in prompts and user response function?
