Webi Opendoc Issue

I have multiple reports linking from summary to detail reports passing in variables.  These have been working for the last two months, but now they are not and I can't see any reason why not.  The link opens the target document, however the report appears to run on forever (hours) and should be a few seconds as is the case when run directly (not via the opendoc link). Both Summary and Detail reports run fine when called directly from Launchpad.

The opendoc links have been working in both 4.0 and 4.1 prior to this week. 

I am not aware of any changes to the server and am advised there have been non made in the last week.

The upgrade to BI4.1 sp1 patch 1 took place almost a month ago.

Both our development and test servers have this issue. Both are 4.1 as above.

I have tested to the length of creating a blank report to link to another blank report, which worked MOST of the time but still failed from time to time.

Environment:

BI4.1 SP1 Patch 1 on Sap BW with Hanna

This report is not alone, there are many others and they are all failing now.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can look at?
