Hi
I have created a report in Web Intelligence which contains 3 to 4 sections. The report is a reminder letter to Customers, now the problem is that the report is in Page Display format and I am getting few blank pages in the report which I don't want, because when I export this report in PDF format this blank pages come.
Is there any way to Hide the pages where data in the section is Null?

Hello Everyone,
I come to you because I don't know what else to do to achieve the results I need in one report.
Well, imagine that I have a query that return two dimensions.
Dimension1 = A text of 4 characters
Dimension2 = Return a date and time object
I'm using the dimension1 as a section.
Inside of each section I use both dimensions (and some more data from another query).
What I need is: In the position 0 of the section, I need to capture the "next" value of Dimension2 (this means the value of the dimension at the position 1 of the section).
The contrary works fine, If I am in position 1 of the section, I can easily capture the value of the position 0 of the section by using the function Previous.
Do you guys have any suggestion on how to achieve this result?
Any help would be highly appreciated!

Some of the cells in the cross tab is blank even though the query in the query panel is returning data for it. I have not applied any filter or condition. It is direct mapping! Not even aggregation involved. Any suggestion to get it fixed?
How would I compare same Measure value(Ex: Sales) for different dates. Lets say User entered a date range '12/1/2015' TO '2/28/2016' and user wants to see the Sales for selected date range as well last year date. i.e, '12/1/2014' TO '2/28/2015'

I am having an issue with the data in the webi report.
I am having a crosstab, with 3 dimensions and 1 measure
[Current Month],[Product],[Item],[Sales]
I am using the above block to create a dashboard using BI Webservices
My issue is, because of the "Current Month", my total comumns will change every month, like for jan 31 columns, feb 29 columns, march 31 columns.
Because of the dynamic columns my dashboard failing. (need to map the columns every month)
I want to create a dummy variable in webi or at universe level, to restrict the table block for 31 columns.
Any way to create a dummy variable with 31 rows???

Hello Everyone,
I have been working on a SAP WEBI project and a question was raised. I thought I should confirm before I present the business plan.
I have a excel data source on which I have created the report. Now the query was raised from the business end whether its possible to write it back to Excel Data source through WEBI report and update. As per my knowledge and research SAP WEBI is a pull toll rather than push.
However if it is possible., please do guide me. Even if you have the workaround that will be perfect as well.

We have a requirement to display the graph as below format based on user entered date .ie "Start Date " and "End Date":
We have from and to date as input from user: "Start Date" and "End Date"
We need to display last 8 weeks data from the End date and display the count of "Spend Error" in the body of Graph in the same format as shown above. ok,we have date as below.
we have created two formula it is giving total count of 8 weeks.

=RelativeDate((ToDate(UserResponse("Spend End Date");""));-55)------->this start date of the first week
Var2:
V_Graph_Spnd_End Date_8Weeks
=LastDayOfWeek(ToDate(UserResponse("Spend End Date");""))---------->this will give end of 8th week

I have to count all the error code including duplicate but it is giving count on distinct value and find the below screen shot actually All count including is 9
1. Top left Table formula: --> =Count(Errcode;All)
2. Top right Table formula: --> =Count(Errcode)
3. Bottom Table is raw data which is giving correct count as (9) with formula -->"=Count(Errcode;All)"
How can we achieve this?

I am trying to figure out a way to make an input control only affect one section of a chart. I think this could be done with another variable but I am not sure how to get it done.
I have a bar chart and this bar chart shows a sales persons capture rate for quotes that they have sold. So basically its a percentage. In the same chart I have the entire regions capture rate that the sales person belongs to.
I am trying to find a way to build this so that using an input control a person can select the sales persons last name and on the chart and the only value that would change would be the sales persons capture rate. So the regions rate would not change.
The problem I am running into is when I select a sales persons name, it filters the region capture rate too and I need that to be fixed.
Is this possible to do?
Here is an what I have that is giving me the correct numbers:
Salesperson capture rate:
=[Salesperson Sold]/[Salesperson Quoted]
Region capture rate:
=[East Sold]/[East Quoted]
When I chart them both and select the salesperson the region capture rate changes too.
Is there a way to make it fixed so that only the salespersons capture rate is changed in the chart?
