We have an issue creating a Relational Connection to our BPC System, there is no issue with the BICS connection and creating the connection to an ECC system on the same hostname ( as a test ).
We have looked at the gateway and ports etc, we have set gw/acl_mode = 0 but this has made no impact.
The other recommendation is to run the function module RSDRI_DF_CONFIGURE on the BI/BPC System, which creates a tcpip rfc within sm59, however the version of the Data Federation Administration Tool doesn't allow us to duplicate the entries on the Business Objects side.
I can see there are new Client tools but we currently have SBOP BI PLATFORM 4.1 SP2 CLIENT TOOLS WINDOWS.
That version of the Data Federation Tool seems to have almost display like functionality.
Does anybody know a way around around our problem or have come across this issue?
