Hi All, I am having an issue with the merge dimensions. I have four tables not linked in the Universe. So I have established four queries one query per table. Table 1 is the main reporting table. Through merged dimensions table 2 is linked to a dimension in table 1 correctly, table 3 is linked to a seperate dimention in table 1 correctly. I have created detail variables with the correct associated dimensions. These work fine.
The last merge I want to do is between tables 3 and 4, so I basically want table 4 to act as a vlookup table (LEFT JOIN) which I can add to a block. I have established the merges below and created a detail variable to pass a dimension value through using the 3=4 link as the assiciated dimension and while I can create a seperate block with just values from tables 3 & 4 if I try to add the detail variable (from table 4) to the main block (dimensions & variables from tables 1 to 3) then I get errors accross the board ("#INCOMPATIBLE"), which is not very helpful.
So the Merge Dimensions are as follows:

Any help or suggestions would be very welcome.
