I have a object "Date" in the universe which I pull in the webi report as date range "Date greater than equal to" and "date less than equal to". So when I select date from 17th Feb and Date to as 17th Feb the report doesnt return any data and when I run the webi report query in the Sql database it doesnt return any data as well but when I select date from as 17th Feb and Date to as 18th Feb report returns data for 17th Feb and same way sql database returns data for 17th feb.
So why is the report not displaying data for 17th when date range is selected as 17th feb to 17th feb. I am expecting to see the data there. What is the right method to make the selection so that it gives accurate data.
Is there a way that when user selects date to as 17th Feb(which is Date less than or equal to) it automatically considers as Date + 1 and makes it to generate as Date less than (date selected + 1) and returns the data.
