select default value dynamically in an input control

Hi Experts,

I have a chart in a webi that is showing the divisions, but we have too many divisions so the bars into the chart looks too thin and the values labels cannot be read

The row restrictions or filter the data is not an option cause all the users should be able to see all the data

We have one group in CMC for each division, that means each user has assigned one group

We are thinking in a solution (any other idea is welcome) that could be to add an input control with multiple values and then select dynamically one option according to the division assigned for each user in that way the chart just will show few divisions that improve the look and feel.

So I have a couple of questions:

Exists in webi a function to get the group that belong a user that got it with CurrentUser()?

how can we choose a default value into input control dynamically?

Note: We are using a universe unx based on SQL and webi 4.0 SP05
