For the first box of the report , we need to consider additional data that is being brought in table Customer , in addition to the table already used.
In case the same row is present in both the old table in the new one , we should only show the row from the old table.
Can we achieve the same in Webi report?

Hi All,
I've a query in a cross tab report where i've to display the each value of an object as different columns. Please check the below screenshots.
The above screenshot is the current table that i've been working on. The highlighted 4 values are separate slab values that need to be displayed separately in each column like in the format screenshot below.
The values of slabs are derived from a single object due to which the circles are repeated for each slab and amount. I've tried creating variables for each slab but it's showing nulls instead of those deleted values. Also, there might new slabs which would be added to current 4 and so creating variables for each slab value is not a useful approach for future use of this report.
The given format of this report cannot be unaltered and we're stuck with it. I don't know whether i've given enough info to understand this query, but i'll be available if any more info is required to solve this.
Please help me figure this out, FYI I'm using BO v.4.1 SP4 Patch 2.

My user wants to see the comments Cost Centre Group wise and their Cost Centre Wise Comments
I'm able to display comments Cost Centres wise followed with some columns same way when am trying to dispaly comments for Cost Centre Groups am getting Cost Centres as well with group comments .
I've attached the screen shots
1)Cost Centre wise comments screen shot:
shows the comments only for their cost centres not for groups which is correct
2) Group wise Comments Screenshot:
Shows the comments but am getting cost centres also like
RAAF
RABP... etc.. with displaying group wise comments which is in correct
3) Comments Screenshot:
Shows the correct comments but have to display with Cost Centre Group names along with that comments column
Please help me how can i achieve this.

I am getting an error while trying to execute a WebI:
A database error occurred. The database error text is: Failed to execute MDX query. Reason: Invalid MDX command with unsupported: >50 Characteristics (WIS 10901)
I know its a BEx based reporting issue and occurs because of data volume getting picked up from the Cube with permutations and combinations. And its a limitation of MDX Driver.
We could remove this by adding a hierarchy at the universe level or filtering the data at cube level but my client is not ready for the solutions I suggested since its a Ad - hoc Universe.
Is there any other solution to this issue?

Is it possible to sort the report level prompts in web intelligence report.
I have found this solution :
For the prompts created at report level we can set the order in Query tab/Properties/Promptorder. But for the prompts created at universe level we can't set the order in Query tab/Properties/Promptorder. There is a work around for this,
1.Go to Query tab and click on add new query
2.Drag the promt from the object pane and place it in the query filters pane.
3.Go to main query and again click on add new query and repeat step 2.
Note: Each time you need to add only one prompt.
4.Repeat the same till you add all the prompts.
5.Then right click on the queries and set the order by moving left or right as per your requirement.
6.Click on run all queries and now you will get the required promptorder

I am having webi report which has Filter on year to month if current month is Nov 2014 then Report filter is Cal year/Period Jan 2014 to Oct 2014 based on that we have one tab. I have to create another tab where we can show last 3 months data also have to show month inside the tab.
In first tab we have

Feb
Mar
Apr
May
Jun
Jul
Aug
Sep
Oct
Second tab should be filtered on Aug, Sep and Oct. it is to be done dynamically so that in next month filter works on Sep, Oct, Nov.

I want to know how we can give dynamic filter of last 3 months on particular tab and can show month as column inside the tab.

I'm facing critical problem when am displaying Cost element wise Sub totals in my BO rpeorts.
We have a cost elements Hierarchy is there it' name is CIFA Brands in this again we have Sub Hierarchy 's there like
Employees------>In this we have 1000-1999
Premises--------->In this we have 2000-2999
Transport--------->In this we have 3000-3999
supplier & services--------->In this we have 4000-4999
Third party payments--------->In this we have 5000-5999
Transfer and payments--------->In this we have 6000-6999
Capital--------->In this we have 7000-7999
Income--------->In this we have 8000-8999
I have to Display the sub totals for all these along with the Cost Elements wise sub totals
we have cost centres like RAAA ,RAAB, RAFB,RAAI ...etc;
in these we have random cost element values exists as i shown below have to show the subtotal 100-1999 ,2000-2999 etc;
Eg:
Cost Center Cost Element
--------------- --------------------
RAA 1000
1001
1321
1520
2000
4567
RAAI 3462
4001
6003
Etc ; like these we have But i have to sub totals by cost element wise with cost centers
Please find the attached sanpshots for the same.

I am working on SAP BO 4.0 WEBI Rich Client.
My requirement is to create a WEBI Report in different tabs.
There is a relation ship between Agreement ID and Project ID is one to many.
Means Agreement ID is having one or more project IDs i.e., 10 or 15.
example: Agreement ID is 101 and Project IDs related to Agreement ID 101 are 201,202,203 ....210. this is vary for different Agreement ID's.
Requirement:
I am using Agreement Id as a prompt.
so I want to display Agreement details in first tab of WEBI report and related Project IDs details should be display in different tabs beside Agreement details tab.
example: If Agreement ID is having 10 Project IDs then 10 Project Ids details should be display in different tabs of the report.
Please any one suggest how it is possible in SAP BO 4.0 WEBI Rich client.
Need answer asap.

Please help me in giving answers rather solutions for the below question which I came across in couple of interviews :
1. I had an excel saved in my local desktop and I need to build a report on that excel sheet and that report should be scheduled to the specific users. How can this be done? Is it possible to do it without creating an universe?
2. Say for example, If you have users in Germany, Spain, China and English; how can I built/schedule my report in such a way that the user should open the report in his language, I mean User from Germany has see the report in German Language, Spanish user should see the report in spanish and so on ...
3. Say for example we have a report and that report should be scheduled in such a way that only that user has to see his own details not the details of others ... something like pay-slip which we will be getting to our respective mail Ids ...

Dear Guru's,
I've a weird requirement to schedule the Webi Reports through third party applications or company's website.
My requirement is:
User don't have any access to BO system, but he has login to other systems or company website. There he login and select which report he want to schedule. then after selection of report; he will select list of parameters for the reports (selection parameters are not from report) and after the selection of parameter values he will submit.
Then BO has to receive those selection parameters and schedule the report to the specified location.
Is it possible?
