We are BO 4.1 SP3 patch 6. Month/year prompt is not showing all values in the LOVs.
All values are comimg up in BEx query but not in webi based on OLAP universe.
In BW object property is set right to show values from master data table but in BO report its still shows value from infoprovider only.
Webi LOV Limit is set to 100000 which is more than required. Month/year LOV has 20000 values.

I am trying to get the following code work but its not working
=[Inventory PQI Date] <= RelativeDate(CurrentDate();70)
when i saw the Current Date values its coming like 1/7/15
however the values coming for [Inventory PQI Date] are like 01/07/2015,
probably thats the reason the above is not working .
Now when i want to format the Current Date to MM/dd/yyyy , it converts to that format but the type comes as String , if i put todate function on the top of Fromat date it bring back to the same old format
I need to convert string to Date type and use it in the DaysBetween function.
Created a variable =ToDate("01/10/2010"; "dd/mm/yyyy").
The output for this becomes 01/01/2010.
What can I do to make the ToDate() function work?

Let me show you another issue.
I have to calculate the ratio with BILLING VALUES now for the "fiscal year" not the natural year.
I mean from march 2014 till february 2015.
The report using natural year 2014 is working but the second report using fiscal year 2014 is not working , I get MULTIPLE VALUE
The variable is the same for both reports.
[RATIO_SUMA]
= (Suma([Importe MSTAR]+[Importe LITE]+[Importe RESTO]) En ([AÑO])/([TOTAL FACTURADO])*100 )
[RATIO_SUMA]
= (Suma([Importe MSTAR]+[Importe LITE]+[Importe RESTO]) En ([AÑO])/([TOTAL FACTURADO])*100 )

Hi,
I am trying to make an open document call as User1 and then I logged off and open the other document using open document URL as User2 then, an error.exception will appear if the session created by user1 is logged off since openDocument ignores the new session created and keeps using the old session for user1.

In the folllowing link at page 5 it is mentioned that this issue will be resolved in SP5 and I am using SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.1 Support Pack 5 Patch 3 build but still I am facing the same issue.
IS THE ISSUE IS STILL THERE ??? PLEASE CONFIRM ASAP.

If you notice - below we have two screenshots: from BI4.0 SP10 (the old system) and BI4.1 SP5 (the new system - last screenshot)
this references to the variable editor box while creating a variable, the color of the syntax changes, like for "If-then" appears dark black
in old BO4.0 system and the numbers appear in blue color.
Whereas in the new BI4.1 SP5 system, there are no colors at all.
Can anyone put some light whether this does not work anymore on BI4.1 system, whether SAP has removed the identifier via coloring
or its only me who is facing this issue - or is there any setting for this?

I've made a scorecard in WEBI with buttons and area micro-chart features for the purpose of ipad viewing. I've attached a picture of the table in WEBI as well as how it looks on the ipad right now. The problem with ipads is that the columns don't re-size proportionately. I would like the micro-chart to span a broader area so it's clearer to the viewers. I have tried text wrap, but the results in the ipad remain the same.
Is there anything else I can do to make the columns re-size proportionately?

I have need to create a Variable that returns either Y or N so it can used as a Flag to turn on/off things using Input Control. The problem this is variable in NOT tied to any Objects in the Data Provider, it needs to be self stained. Also like creating your on own data values for a table.

I create a webi document on a Bex query, to permit users to enter manually Material key in this document, I create a filter in webi document as a prompt, so users can enter lot of material key manually.
My problem is if a user enter a key that doesn't exist in the Cube BW i have an error:
Query script generation failed, no member found for caption filter...
But if the material key doesn't exit i just want to have the result of the webi document with non data

I have encountered an issue when using a datetime dimension for a Webi query filter, either as a constant of a prompt, where the SQL that is generated removes the time portion from the entered datetime filter value.
For example, in the query filter for a datetime dimension I set a constant value of 6/19/2015 2:00:00 AM. This is done using the datetime picker. I then look at the generated SQL and see that the WHERE clause is "Table.DateTime_Column = {d '2015-06-19'}". I have tried this with a number of different datetime dimensions with the same result.
The dimensions used are set as datetime and are mapped to database columns that are TIMESTAMP(6). The database is an Oracle 11G database, our BIP is 4.1 SP3 and we are using UNX universes.
Has anyone encountered this issue? Thanks in advance for any responses.

I am back again with a new question 
I have a WebI report were I have scheduled it to run as weekly (Monday) but the challenge is this report schedule has to pick the last Saturday for its every weekly schedule.
E.g: I am scheduling for 06/22/2015 (Monday) I have a prompt as "Week Ending" the report has to pick the Week ending date as 06/20/2015
for next Weekly (Monday) Schedule 06/29/2015 the Week Ending should be 06/27/2015.... it goes on like this for every week.....
Currently I am doing this manually every Friday I go and change the date on Week Ending prompt to Saturday's date and wait for the Schedule to run on Monday. Can someone help me in solving this issue or how we can achieve this Scheduling..?

I have 2 queries from same universe from different context.
Query 1 - History table
H_Prod#,H_cust#,h_salesorderno,h_salesorderlineno,h_customerorderno,H_shipdate,h_Qty,h_Amount
Query2 - Current Table
Prod#,cust#,salesorderno,salesorderlineno,customerorderno,shipdate,Qty,Amount
Need the report
Prod#,cust#,salesorderno,salesorderlineno,customerorderno,shipdate,h_shipdate,Difference(shipdate-h_shipdate)
I tried merging all the dimensions in the queries, checked 'avoid duplicate row aggregation' and 'Extend merge dimension values'
By this
when there is no change in shipdate for history and current table it comes in one row, but when the date are changed it comes in two row, so the difference is always zero.
Date was changed from 6/25 - history table to 6/18 current table for SOlineno - 10, but shows in 2 separate rows

We have 3 prompts
1 prompt user enter the values, 2 prompt with lov, 3 prompt with lov.
in the query we want to pass
select
datavalue,timestamp from numericlog where logname = concat(concat(prompt1,prompt2),prompt3)
so that the user can get the result set.
We are getting the above values from symentic layer.
Can we do this in webi or we should do this on Symenticlayer itself or how should we do this.
