I have couple of query where except batch all other dimensions are same i need to calculate the price based on the batch now.
Q1:
profit center,material,unit,batch & price.
Q2:
profit center,material,unit & price.
I can merge all dimensions except batch now i want to know what is the price for batch is equal to null (="") & batch is not equal to null (<>=""). So that i can use the syntax across the other dimensions.

It showing something like: " #TOREFRESH " and in some records showing values.
I don't have any clue why is it showing these

Hi Experts,
We are facing slowness issue for BO servers.
We did some regular maintenance like cleared Tomcat cache and increased heap size to 16 GB, disabled Auditing still we are unable to gear up speed as its impacting highly and lot of users reporting. Pls do needful and appreciate your quick response on this.

I have a report with 2 data providers
DP1 has attributes 1. Year, 2. Ind and DP2 has attributes 1.Year 2. Amount. 3. Code
I am merging on the Year column and bringing the Year, Ind, Amount attributes in the report. My report looks like below
Year Ind Amount
2010 2000
2011 1000
2012 Y 4000
2013 Y 5000
2014 N 6000
2015 7000
Total 25000
As I am bringing the Ind attribute from the DP1 , the amount is showing up as 0, so i used the calculation context for the Amount column as we are using the code to calculate the amount. My problem comes with the total. When I filter on the Ind = Y though the rows are getting filtered like below, till the total shows up as 25000 instead of 9000.
Year Ind Amount
2012 Y 4000
2013 Y 5000
Total 25000
I tried different options some times it throws up #unavailable error for the total column because I think I am filtering on a dimension from a different context. Correct me If am wrong and it would be helpful if some one can provide a solution.

I have a problem when I try to promote a "lcmbiar" file with the "lcm_cli.sh" tool.
I don't have any problem when I do the same thing using the CMC.
The error talks about an object that would be already present in the destination folder; but check with "AdminTools" and there's no object with the same id or name.
Moreover, this id change each time.

I have a complex webi report which needs to have detailed level information to get a correct calculation of the measures in it.
Removing any of the details result incorrect calculation and various errors in the report.
The question is if there is a way to keep the detailed report on one Report sheet and using the content of the detailed report in another Report sheet to create a summarized view?
Using maybe special references which picks up the results of the table calculation like [Report1].[MeasureResult1] and not referring to the base queries?
I also tried to save the table as a data source however in web intelligence I only could find save as excel which I would like to avoid.
I would prefer to create aggregated calcuation within Webi and not in other spreadsheets.

I am scheduling the webi report to output in Excel and PDF. In PDF i am getting in one page and printing is easy,where as excel provides multi page output. Is it possible to get excel output also like PDF in one page so user has to do any formatting and could be printed right away.

Recently we have migrated our BO environment from BOXI R3 to BI4.0 SP 5 Patch 3. Since then i have observed that SHIFT+Click to select multiple columns in webi report is not working the way it is expected. I very frequently use this to apply similar kind of formatting to all similar kind of columns in Web-I report. It is working fine in BO3.
The strange thing is that this SHIFT+Click is working fine in objects panel of same report, which gives me indication that this problem is not related to Windows.
CTRL + Click is working the way it is expected.
Do i need to change some setting to make this functionality enabled.
Any help is much appreciated.
Explanation on how SHIFT+Click work:
Suppose you want to select a list of consecutive columns in Webi report, then if you just press Shift and click on first column and without releasing the Shift key if you will click on last column then it will select all the columns.

I am quite confused with below formula I build:
=([Net Sales Value Euro]Where([Country Name]="GERMANY"))Where([Net Sales Value Euro]Between(5;9.9999))
when I divide the formula into two so:
=([Net Sales Value Euro]Where([Country Name]="GERMANY")
=([Net Sales Value Euro]Between(5;9.9999))
I have correct results when formula is split however when joined there are no results which is strange to me.
Can you please help me when I have made a mistake in the formula?

I need parameters in my report for Month and Amounts.and, if User chooses January and Amount spent for that month as 2nd parameter, this is simple. But If he choose FEB and need another user selection parameter (keeping in mind here Amounts different for each month and need 1 parameter for Month) So, I have to assign different Amounts for each month at a time when Run. Is it possible?

(it would be 2 in this example)
I used formulas:

=Count([Blog Post Id]) Where ([Nb of Blog Post Likes] >2)
but I get all blogs post IDs (4 and not 2 as expected, in example) as a result...

I have a requirement for a Summary report. I have a Dimension Field of Region and Reporting Period and all other columns having the fact data. If the user selects the multiple month for a for a report in prompt, then the Reporting period should show the separate month splitted in rows for each Region and as well the fact numbers split in each row too.
For Eg,
This is the Current Situation: If we select Prompt from: 01/2015 - 02/2015
Region Reporting Period Fact1 Fact2
North 012015 2000 1000
South 012015 1000 1500
East 012015 3000 2000
But we want to make it as
Region Reporting Period Fact1 Fact2
North 012015 1000 700
North 022015 1000 300
South 012015 400 700

Any Idea would be appreciated. We have a hierarchy set up in the region level From Region-Sector-Unit-Worker level. So each time we drill down, this should reflect on each level.
